Late August saw the leading lights of the cleaning industry gather at Sydney’s International Convention Centre for the eagerly anticipated two-day 2018 ISSA Cleaning and Hygiene Expo. This annual event is increasing in popularity, with attendance numbers up by more than 30 per cent this year. As always, Conquest was a proud exhibitor, welcoming visitors with an impressive display of power sweeper and scrubbing machines in the main entrance foyer.

Conquest was particularly delighted to display the Magna Plus scrubbing machine, a finalist for the highly-coveted INCLEAN Innovation Award in the Equipment Category. Managing Director, Michael Mathews, was full of praise for what he believed was a great show all round. “The position, the quality of key note speakers, the range of exhibitors and new products all attracted a large number of quality customers; it was a great networking opportunity.”

Highlights included:

  • Conquest’s custom display stand looked great, featuring our Four Key Promises which are an integral component of Conquest 360, our 360 Degrees of Care program. The stand was consistently busy, with many visitors and customers taking the opportunity to get up close and personal with samples from our wide range of commercial cleaning equipment.

 

  • The release of Conquest’s updated ever-popular Edge Stick machine – now known as the ISO Stick floor scrubber – was well attended. This new version offers much reduced vibration, and the benefits of a floating handle for added stability.

 

  • The Maxima Plus generated a lot of interest at the Conquest stand. This superior floor scrubbing machine has full operator control, and comes complete with on-board, easy-to-follow tutorials for optimum use. It can also be pre-set for specific zones and has both a wash gun and vacuum attachment on board.

Each year, the ISSA Expo offers exhibitors the chance to showcase the latest advancements in cleaning technology. Ben Mathews, National Key Accounts Manager, was fulsome in his praise of the event, saying, “Best cleaning show the Australian market has ever seen, attracting great partnership networking and the leaders in innovation.”
